Massa Pleased with Ferrari Progress

BARCELONA - Felipe Massa believes Ferrari have difficulty making progress since the first official test in Jerez Formula 1 in 2012. The Brazilian driver is optimistic, "Scuderia" is in a good performance when it started the new season.


Massa get their first chance to try out the Ferrari F2012 at Barcelona this week, after Fernando Alonso drove during the first two days. Although the evaluation continues, Massa see there are bright spots went to Ferrari.

"This car is better than in Jerez, and we're starting to establish how we should move forward to continue developing," said Massa, who had to settle for seventh in the official trials which took place on Thursday (23.02.12 ).



"Throughout my tests using the hard tires, and I am pleased with the work we do. Tomorrow I will try another compound tires. It will be important to spend a lot of miles during the last five days, in preparation for the first series this season."

Ferrari has revised its plans for next week's test in Barcelona. They have chosen to join the Red Bull Racing from Friday to Monday, while other teams will try the track from Thursday through Sunday. Any rider who tried it would take turns, in which the masses will come down to the track on Friday and Sunday, and Alonso on Saturday and Monday.


Felipe Massa must have risen in 2012 Season

Manager Felipe Massa, Nicolas Todt, Brazilian rider feels confident it will look different on the 2012 season. According to him, Massa would show a brilliant performance to treat his disappointment during the 2011 season.

Last year, the Brazilian driver was in the shadow of Ferrari team-mate, Fernando Alonso. The reason, he failed to win a podium throughout the season.

Nevertheless, Todt optimistic Massa will rise from the ground up. At the beginning of the season, Massa, who last won in 2008, would be more resilient.
