Manama - Bahrain Grand Prix Coming to a week earlier after a champion in Shanghai, Nico Rosberg to fifth pole position in qualifying session. Less satisfactory, Mercedes driver had chosen to focus on racing.
Rosberg became one of the favorite riders who can win the pole at Bahrain Grand Prix qualifying after being the fastest in free practice session two and three. But at the end of the qualifying session, he could only sit in fifth place, 0.399 seconds behind Sebastian Vettel of which occupies a leading position.
Disappointed with these results, Rosberg chose to focus on the race on Sunday (4/22/2012) later. Moreover, he called, the development carried out on his Mercedes FO 108Z is focused for the race.
"In general we work with focus attention on the race, we compromised a bit with the qualifying order to achieve good results tomorrow," Rosberg said after qualifying.
"We've developed a lot over the weekend and I feel more comfortable during the race than qualifying today," he said.
